I am a college student wanting to make turkey and dressing for a Thanksgiving party and don’t have time to cook an actual turkey. Would deli turkey work? Thanks!

How many people are you feeding? If more than 3 or 4 you will be better off just buying a small turkey.

NO! Deli Turkey is too salty. Get a 3 lb turkey breast roast. I made one last night and it was perfect.

As far as dressing. Nothing beats REAL dressing, Stove top is, well, ACK!

You can make stove top stuffing mix, quick and easy. As a last resort I would use deli style turkey. Make sure to pick up a jar of turkey gravy. Some deli’s actually make fresh turkey breast by the pound. I don’t know where you live, but if there is a Kosher deli, Gourmet or homemade takeout food store near you, you should be able to find fresh cooked turkey breast. These shops also make there own gravy.

EDIT: Stove Top stuffing mix comes in a few varieties and can be purchased at the Super Market.
