honestly, don’t use a microwave to cook if you want your food to taste the best and maintain all its healthy nutrients. microwaves do the most disgusting things to food. serioulsy, add a few extra minutes to your cook time and just use other methods like the stove or something.
You’ll never get the same effect from a microwave.

why would you microwave it before you grill it?
Microwave ovens are the wrong tool to use for high quality cooking. Microwave ovens are for quick, down-and-dirty simple meals.
